The projection can take the form of trapezoid, trigon, rectangle or camber; the length of the projection is no less than 20mm; the cavity of the main building block body is filled with heat-insulating material. The chain heat-insulating building block of the utility model is provided with heat-insulating material filled in the cavity extending from the main block body, when the block is overlapped, the protections of the neighboring blocks can interlace and connect with each other, and thereby the heat-insulating layer in the wall laid by the blocks can interlace and overlap with each other, no cold bridge is formed and the heat-insulating effect is excellent.
