Summary:The present utility model discloses a portable type gas detector, belonging to a warning device which responds to certain situation, in particlar to a combustible gas detection warning device. The detector includes a DC-DC power supply, a gas sensor, and a detecting circuit. The structure is that a signal collection circuit arranged with the gas sensor is connected with a central processing unit PIC16F690 which is also connected with a keyboard signal collection circuit, an acoustic warning circuit, combustible gas concentration indication circuit, voltage and using status indication circuit. The detector decreases the number of peipheral independent components by using single chip microcomputer for the central processing unit, which makes the device compact in structure, small in volum, and convenient to use. When using the device to detect combustible gas, whether the combustible gas leaks or not can be judged even the leakage position can be found according the acoustic-light indication of the instrument,
