The utility model relates to an electric motor for the washing machine which comprises an electric motor casing, a stator and a rotor arranged in the electric motor casing, wherein the rotor comprises a rotation shaft and a rotor pressure casting part arranged in the rotation shaft. The motor is characterized in that the rotation shaft is pressed with the annular knurls; the rotation shafts at the two ends of the rotor pressure casting part are sleeved with the supporting sleeves; the internal hole of the supporting sleeve and the annular knurls are in interference fit; and the bearing is arranged on the supporting sleeve. The entire technology has a simple structure and the produced electric motor has a stable quality. The electric motor shaft has a high intensity and the outward appearance has a high quality. The manufacture is easy and the cost is low, so that the device is fit to be used to the single asynchronous electric motor for the full automatic washing machine and the electric motor for the tri-phase frequency conversion.
