Summary: | Cosmetic compositions and methods of decreasing sebum production and/or pore size by contacting skin with a hair growth inhibitor selected from polyamine derivatives and/or analogs; difluoryl methyl ornithine (DFMO), N-acetyl cysteines; neutralized salts of a non-hydroxy C2-C40 dicarboxylic acids, preferably malonate salts; and mixtures thereof. Additional sebum and/or pore size reducing agents, such as carboxyalkylates of branched alcohols and/or ethoxylates thereof, cerulenin, triclosan, alpha-methylene-gamma-butyrolactone, and EGCG, as well as mixtures thereof and analogs thereof, may be included in the inventive compositions and methods. |
