The invention relates to a combination power plant (2) which is embodied as a single shaft power plant (2), essentially consisting of a gas turbine (3), a steam turbine (6) and a generator (4) which is connected therebetween. A coupling (5) is arranged between the generator (4) and the steam turbine (6), and at least one drive device (8), which is used to drive the single-shaft power plant, is also provided. The coupling (5) is uncoupled during a turning operation and a control unit (9), which is used to control the rotational speed of the steam turbine (6), is provided.
