Summary:The invention relates to digital image processing and technique discrimination field, and discloses an identity discriminated method based on palm print pattern recognition. It includes following steps: step 1, the palm print pattern is preprocessed; step 2, the every area of the normalizing palm print pattern is processed by airspace filtration using the anisotropic two-dimensional Gauss filter; step 3, the mutual vertical direction filtering result is compared and decoded to form the characteristic vector of the image; step 4, the palm print pattern recognition is processed according to said characteristic vector. The identity discriminate system has the advantages of that low requirement for image collecting device, good real time performance, low error discrimination, high robustness, and low capacity of characteristic template. The invention can satisfy the requirements of the applying system of gate inhibition, work attendance, electric passport, electric business and bank teller machine for the identity discrimination.
