Summary:An information storage device for recording/reproducing information in/from a disc-shaped storage medium is closed. The information storage device is provided with a medium storing section wherein a plurality of storage mediums are stored by being mounted on a tray; a recording/reproducing section wherein the storage medium is loaded with the tray and recording/reproduction of information in/from the storage medium is performed; and a medium moving section for moving the storage medium between the medium storing section and the recording/reproducing section with the tray. The medium moving section is provided with a circulating belt, which is provided with a pair of fixed protruding parts at an interval shorter than the length of the tray and is arranged on a side of a tray moving path along the moving path; and a driving section for driving the circulating belt. The pair of protruding parts of the tray are caught respectively, at a rear end in a moving direction of the medium moving section and at a position at a distance in accordance with an interval between the rear end and the pair of protruding sections.
