Summary:The present invention relates to an aluminium electrolytic bath high-effective impervious brick and its preparation method. It is made up by using silicon-alumina refractory mineral as raw material through the processes of calcining, dewatering, pulverizing, adding solid additive, mixing, adding liquid binding agent, wet-grinding, mixing, vibration to forming or extruding to forming, drying so as to obtain the invented impervious brick. Said impervious brick raw material composition includes (by weight portion) 40-70 portions of SiO2, 30-60 portions of Al2O3, 3-7 portions of Fe2O3, 1-5 portions of solid additive and 3-15 portions of liquid binding agent.
