PURPOSE: A method for driving a field emission display panel is provided to remove blurring phenomenon on a screen by discharging electric charges of a capacitor of a previous frame in a constant block of a present frame to turn off a field emission device during a constant time. CONSTITUTION: A normal block and a black data block is assigned when a data voltage is applied to a source line. A real data voltage is applied to the normal block and a black data voltage is applied to the black data block. A field emission portion is turned off in a constant block and a display operation is performed by applying the black data voltage to a plurality of gate lines when a gate signal is applied to activate sequentially the gate lines. The gate signals are divided into the first gate signal(200) and the second gate signal(300) in one frame and the divided gate signals are applied to the gate lines.
