Summary:The invention relates to a metering device for powdery, flaky, or fine-grained dosing material, preferably coffee powder, milk powder, or cocoa powder. Said metering device comprises a container for accommodating the dosing material. A metering chamber is embodied at the outlet of the container for dosing one portion of the dosing material at a time. Said dosing material is emptied into a receptacle via a discharge port each time an actuating element is actuated, the dosing material being impinged upon by a flow of a blowing device when being discharged in a metered manner. The inventive metering device prevents the discharge port of the outlet and the discharge point which is formed at the free end of the tube section from being blocked.
