An organism information signal processing system (100) comprising an organic combination of an organism light measuring device and a brain wave measuring device. The system (100) comprises the organism light measuring device (300) for measuring as an organism light signal an optical characteristic variation caused by the brain activity in the head of a subject (140) when the head is irradiated with an inspection light of visible to near-infrared range and the transmitted light is received; the brain wave measuring device (400) for measuring as a brain wave signal an electrical characteristic variation caused by the brain activity in the head of the subject; a probe (50) for above both devices; an organism information signal processing/displaying device (200) for displaying on a common display the organism light signal and the brain wave signal picked up at their measurement positions by the organism light measuring device and brain wave measuring device respectively, with the organism light signal and the brain wave signal associated with their measurement positions. Thus, the system enables integral observation of both signal data.
