Summary:A method for manufacturing a multilayer electronic component is disclosed which enables to produce a multilayer ceramic component such as a high-capacity multilayer ceramic capacitor which is thinnedto have an interlayer thickness of not more than 2.5 mum at high production yield without causing separation of layers or internal defects. When the first weight percentage (weight%) of a first organic binder component to a first inorganic pigment powder in a green sheet slurry for forming a green sheet (10a) is (A) and the second weight percentage (weight%) of a second organic binder component toa second inorganic pigment powder in an electrode step-covering print paste for forming a margin pattern layer (24) is (B), the second weight percentage (B) is larger than the first weight percentage(A).
