Summary:This invention discloses a method and a system for carrying out section selections to periphery devices in a single board computer, in which, a CPU outputs the information of the labeled periphery devices necessary to be selected currently to a programmable logic device, which generates section selection signals corresponding to the periphery devices and outputs the generated signals to each periphery device and the periphery devices necessary for being selected currently determine if they are the being selected objects. This invention assigns a common address space for different periphery devices and every one can have an address space.
