To provide, via a simple method, a piezoelectric vibrator wherein nonuniformities in the adjusted amounts of the characteristic frequencies are small, and the characteristic frequencies can be adjusted with little decrease in the vibration characteristics, whereby individual differences pertaining to the characteristic frequency can be eliminated.
