Summary: | Composite flat plate cavity is constituted as follows: two pieces of plane reflector are placed in parallel so as to constitute a flat plate cavity; placing two pieces of identical flat glass plate with 45 degree with axial line of cavity; semi permeable film is coated on one surface, and anti-reflection film is coated on the other surface of the glass plate; two beams of laser are collimated to two beams with equal cross section nearly. Being in same plane, two laser beams project to surfaces coated with semi permeable film of glass plates along direction perpendicular to the axial line of cavity. Multiple times of reflection and transmission are carried out along same optical path inside the flat plate cavity by two laser beam. Thus, strong coupling occurs so as to obtain coherent output. Features are: simple structure, no need of spatial filter, convenient to expand coherent composition from large numbers of laser beams so as to generate coherent output in high power. |
