Summary:The present disclosure relates to a toner process comprising providing a resin miniemulsion comprising polymeric particles comprising at least one free radical polymerizable monomer compound and at least one alkylene anhydride; blending the miniemulsion with at least one colorant, at least one amine, and optionally at least one wax; heating the resulting mixture below or about equal to the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the resin emulsion; and heating the resulting mixture above or about equal to the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the resin emulsion.
