Summary:An information playback method includes reading out information from a recording medium storing a stream which includes meta data of a moving picture capable of being played back upon playback of a video content, and which is formed of access units as data units capable of being processed independently, and storing a table which includes playback time information indicating a playback time of meta data, and which includes access position information indicating an access position of meta data, and playing back the video content, and playing back the meta data on the basis of the playback time information and the access position information included in the table.
