A method for constructing seamless rectangular pool with or without binding preload stress comprising the steps of, arranging a plastic board sliding layer between the concrete cushion and the bottom board of the pool, exerting preload stress at the two directions along the horizontal orientation of the bottom board, arranging a sliding layer between the walls and the bottom board of the pool, exerting preload stress at the horizontal and vertical directions of the pool walls, and for covered pool, arranging a rubber sheet support stand between the walls and the bottom board of the pool, exerting a horizontal preload stress at the two directions of the top board, carrying out antiseptic treatment to the stretching end, conducting pressure grouting, after exerting preload stress to the pool walls, casting the large and small feet of the pool walls so as to form a fixed end or hinged point. 有、无粘结预应力无缝矩形水池构筑方法，属于给水排水工程领域，该方法按照下述步骤进行，在素混凝土垫层与水池底板之间设置塑料板滑动层；在底板水平向的两个方向施加预应力；在池壁与底板之间设置滑动层；在池壁水平方向或竖直方向施加预应力；对于有盖水池，在池壁与顶板之间设置橡胶板支座；在顶板的两个方向施加水平预应力；对张拉端进行防腐处理；进行压力灌浆；池壁被施加完预应力后再浇注池壁的大、小放脚，以形成固定端或铰支点。按照本水池构筑法建造出来的水池类结构，其受力性能好，耐久性强，抗震性能好，管理维护费用极少。由于取消了温度伸缩缝，避免橡胶止水带造成的漏水隐患及给以后管理维护带来的麻烦。
