The present invention features that the sowthistle herb extract can reduce nicotine by over 85 % without affecting the taste of cigarette. 本发明提供一种降低烟碱的药物制剂，其基本成分是苦菜；所述的药物制剂形式包括苦菜提取物、袋泡茶、片剂、冲剂、喷雾剂、口香糖及其它临床上可接受的制剂形式。本发明的应用技术方案之一是将苦菜的提取物喷洒在烟丝上制备低烟碱香烟。技术方案之二将苦菜的干燥粉末直接掺在烟丝中制备香烟。其延伸技术方案是将苦菜的提取物与临床上可接受的添加剂组合制备解烟毒的片剂、冲剂、喷雾剂。本发明的技术进步效果表现在不改变香烟的口味的前提下，避免烟碱的污染损害，动物试验表明可降解烟碱85％以上，是香烟及相关产业的创新品种。
