The integral heat treatment method of large horizontal pressure container includes the following steps: directly using the pressure container to be undergone the process of heat treatment as furnace cavity; inverting the smoke-discharging hole of the pressure container downward and covering the pressure container with heat-insulating layer; equipping the lower portion of the pressure container with secondary heating cavity with smoke-discharging hole; connecting the smoke-discharging hole of the secondary heating cavity with flue; sealing and butt-jointing burner and pipe hole of pressure container, and making combustion and heating; regulating pressure in the interior of pressure container by means of flue device and making the pressure in the pressure container be positive pressure; then thermostatic cooling so as to implement said invention. 本发明公开了一种大型卧式压力容器整体热处理方法，该方法直接将所需要进行热处理的压力容器设为炉膛；将压力容器的排烟孔倒置向下，并对压力容器加覆保温层；在压力容器的下方设置带有排烟口的二次加热腔；在二次加热腔的排烟口外接烟道；用燃烧器与压力容器管口密封对接并进行燃烧加热；通过烟道装置对压力容器内的压力进行调节，使其压力容器内的压力为正压；恒温、冷却。该方法克服了传统方法将压力容器放入工业炉内进行热处理，而因加热体积有限不能对大型压力容器进行热处理的缺陷，现场就地进行热处理还解决了压力容器制造厂预制后整体运输的难题。
