The method for breeding new variety of tri-prism candied fruit by adopting nuclear gene substitution breeding process includes the following steps: using wild Jian flower as male sterility line, using high-quality tri-prismatic honey fruit as maintenance line and restoring line, pollinating the male pollen of tri-prism candied fruit onto the pistol of Jian flower to make Jian flower grow fruit, sowing the seed obtain from said fruit, using sterile plant as new maternal plant, then pollinating the malke pollen of tri-prism candied fruit onto the pistil of new materal plant, through hybridization of three generations to several generations, breeding, sterile line, using homozygous sterile line as scion, using high-quality tri-prism candied fruit plant as parental stock to make asexual propagation by grafting so as to obtain the invented product with high medicinal value.
