Summary:The preparation method of surface modified nano calcium carbonate is characterized by including the following steps: after carbonizatino for synthesizing nano calcium carbonate by using calcium oxideand CO2 gas as raw material making two surface modification treatment steps: first step adopts saturated fatty acid sodium salt as surface modifiying agent, its molecular formula is CH3(CH2)nCOONa (n=10,12,14,16 and 18), and its dose is 3-6 of weight of calcium carbonate; and second step continuous adds a water soluble bivalent metal salt as surface modifying agent, for example CaCl2, MgCl2, BaCl2 and MgSO4 etc. its dose is 0.5-2.5% of calcium carbonate weight.
