Summary:A pulse type oil pumping unit includes oil pumping structure, life structure, frame structure, powder structure and control structure. Natural gas with 0.6 MPa pressure is burnt to drive oil pump viapiston rods and steel cable, one regulating valve controls the operation speed at 0.25-0.4 m/s and an other regulating valve controls the falling speed of oil pumping rod at 0.3-0.5 m/s. The present invention is suitable for oil production in both high pressure and low pressure oil fields.
