Summary:The printer has one ribbon-feeding wheel, one ribbon winding wheel and one pair of motors, which are connected separately to the wheels so that the color ribbon can move from one wheel to the other; one detection mechanism to detect ribbon parameters and the angle speed of the ribbon feeding wheel during the initialization of the printer; one memory to store the rotating radius of the ribbon winding wheel, ribbon tension and motor driving pulse width and their conversion relationship; and one microcomputerized control mechanism to drive motors with different pulse width obtained according to detected parameters and conversion relationship. The printer applies different tension and travel direction to color ribbon for train printing.
