CONSTITUTION: This fitting structure is a structure of a butt rod 1 having a cylindrical fitting member 20 at the butt side end and a butt upper rod 2 connected to the tip side of the butt rod 1 in a shaking out manner. A small- diameter joining part 30 in which the outer peripheral surface thereof is formed into a smaller diameter and capable of fitting into the fitting member 20 is formed within a prescribed range in the axial direction from the butt side end of the butt upper rod 2.
