Summary:The present invention provides a method for conversion, separation and extraction of 20(S)-proginseng saponin-Rh2 by using total saponin of ginseng or ginsenin as raw material, and further provides amedicine composition of said ginseng monomer saponin and application of said composition in preventing and treating pernicious diseases. Wherein said preparation method includes mixing the solution of proginsenin component saponin and alkali metal alcoholate or metal hydroxide alcoholic solution, or mixing proginsenin component saponin low alcoholic solution and alkali metal alcoholate lower alcoholic solution, then react under high temp. and high pressure, and extract with lower alcohol.
