Summary: | The multifunction synthetic slag for refining furnace comprises the following ingredients (wt%): lime 55-65%. limestone 3-10%, fluorite 3-10%, caustic soda 3-9%, raw dolomite 4-8%, aluminium grain with diameter of 3-5 mm 3-5%, silicon carbide (silicon content is 45-55%) 5-10%, silicon-calcium alloy 2-3% and aluminium dust (aluminium content is 10-15%) 1-3%. Said invented product posseses several functions of desulphurization, deoxidation and foaming and smothering arc. As compared with existent synthetic slag, its desulphurization capacity is raised by above 30%, refining time can be shortened by above 15 min, and can be up to below 30 min, and can make ladle life prolonged by 8-10 times. |
