Summary:Hair care compositions comprise a water-soluble polyalkylene glycol having a number average molecular weight of from about 200 to about 900 and from about 4 to about 18 repeating alkylene oxide radicals, wherein each of the repeating alkylene oxide radicals has from 2 to 6 carbon atoms; a film forming polymer is soluble in the polyalkylene glycol, wherein the weight ratio of the polyalkylene glycol to the film forming polymer ranges from about 5:1 to about 50:1; and a liquid carrier. The hair care compositions optionally further comprise a non-volatile silicone with a molecular weight greater than about 40,000 daltons.
