The present invention relates to methods of predicting the response of prostate cancer subjects to neohelper androgen deprivation therapy. The method is based on prediction results based on gene expression levels identified herein. The present invention provides a method for determining whether neoadjuvant androgen deprivation therapy is useful for a subject and thus should be administered.
