The present disclosure provides a method of treating, ameliorating and/or preventing retinal degeneration in a subject, such as, but not limited to, anterior segment of the eye disease and/or age-related macular degeneration (AMD). In certain embodiments, the methods comprise administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of the disclosure.
