Summary:The invention relates to nuclear techniques and technology and can be used for designing and manufacturing fuel assemblies. The fuel assembly comprises spacer grids used for a hexagonal beam of fuel elements and arranged along the fuel assembly, bearing elements in the form of angle plates firmly fixed to the spacer grids and to the rear part of the assembly, and guiding channels. Sockets are mounted on the guiding channels with a guaranteed clearance not exceeding 1.5mm with respect to ends of the spacer grids. The sockets of the first spacer grid, in the course of a heat carrier flow, are mounted from the side of lower end. On the remaining spacer grids, the sockets are mounted from the side of upper end. The invention results in a reduction of the deformation of the spacer grids and the fuel elements during the interaction thereof, an increase in the regular dispersion of mechanical forces between units and elements of the construction, fewer in the form variation of the fuel assembly in its whole and the separate elements thereof.
