The polyester resin is a copolymer of carboxyl-terminated polyester, amorphous carbon dioxide-based polyester diol and modified diol, and the mass part ratio of the carboxyl-terminated polyester to the amorphous carbon dioxide-based polyester diol to the modified diol is (10-30): (50-99): (2-30). The preparation method of the polyester resin comprises the following steps: putting the raw materials into a reaction kettle, heating to 100-180 DEG C, adding a catalyst accounting for 0.1-2% of the total mass of the raw materials, carrying out vacuum polycondensation, and cooling to obtain the polyester resin.
