The invention discloses a method and a system for automatically generating a fire automatic alarm system diagram based on BIM. The method comprises the following steps: setting a style of the fire automatic alarm system diagram according to an installation place; reading the three-dimensional model to generate a floor header or a fire partition header; setting configuration information of a device header in an interactive interface in a user-defined manner; according to the floor header or the fire partition header and the equipment header, table lines are generated to generate a table; and according to the equipment header, counting the equipment type and quantity corresponding to each floor or each fire compartment in the three-dimensional model, drawing corresponding equipment legends in the cells, generating table cell information, generating a connection relationship, and finally outputting an automatic fire alarm system diagram. According to the invention, the problem of automatic generation of the auto
