The invention relates to a method for broadband unlicensed channel access. A device may be configured for different types of listen before talk (LBT) procedures, where the LBT type may refer to the frequency granularity of the LBT. There may be a hierarchical LBT program in which the LBT granularity changes at each point in the LBT program. Parameters may be selected for each LBT type. Some of the parameters may be shared over different points of the LBT program. There may be an LBT subband set for a subband set LBT type. One or more indications of the acquired LBT sub-bands may be present under the condition of shared channel occupancy time.
