Summary: | Rapid dilution and excellent rheology can be achieved with a hydratable concentrated surfactant composition comprising: a) from 30 to 50% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, of an anionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of sodium laureth sulfate, sodium alkanol polyether sulfate, and mixtures thereof; b) 4-12% by weight, based on the total weight of the hydratable concentrated surfactant composition, of a co-surfactant selected from the group consisting of betaine, cocamide monoethanolamide, and mixtures thereof; c) 0.2-3% by weight of a phase modifier, which is sodium benzoate, based on the weight of the total composition; d) 2-7% by weight, based on the weight of the total composition, of a viscosity modifier, which is an inorganic electrolyte; e) 10-60% by weight of water based on the weight of the total composition; wherein the surfactant is in a layered phase; and wherein the hydratable concentrated surfactant composition has a pH of from 3 to 6; and wherein the hydrata |
