Summary:The invention discloses a natural antibacterial peptide and an application thereof in an antibacterial aspect. The antibacterial peptide disclosed by the invention is derived from urechis unicinctus. A mature peptide sequence of the antibacterial peptide is obtained by searching a urechis unicinctus gene database and screening and analyzing, and the amino acid sequence of the antibacterial peptide is shown as SEQ ID NO: 1 in a sequence table. Through contrastive analysis, the natural antibacterial peptide is obviously different from all known antibacterial peptides in amino acid sequence, and belongs to a novel antibacterial peptide. An antibacterial experiment result shows that the antibacterial peptide has extremely high antibacterial activity on gram-positive bacteria, gram-negative bacteria and fungi, the antibacterial effect is broad-spectrum and efficient, and the antibacterial peptide can be used for preparing drugs for resisting bacteria and inhibiting bacterial growth, preservatives, veterinary drugs
