Summary:The invention relates to a hand-held tool comprising a housing and a tool. The housing has a rear end and a front end. The housing has a first housing shell and a second housing shell which are separable and assemblable in a separation direction when the housing is assembled. The housing has an outer wall. The operating region has a handle opening which completely penetrates the housing in the separating direction and which is delimited in the region of the rear end of the housing by a tubular section of the outer wall of the housing. The outer wall of the first housing shell is reinforced in the region of the tubular section by means of a rib structure located internally in the housing.
