Summary:Provided is an optical laminate which is capable of satisfactorily peeling a peeling film even when the optical laminate includes a linear polarization layer and a phase difference layer, and the linear polarization layer includes a cured layer of a composition containing a polymerizable liquid crystal compound. The optical laminate has a surface protective film, a transparent resin film, a circular polarizing plate, a first adhesive layer, and a release film in this order. The surface protective film can be peeled off from the transparent resin film. The circular polarizing plate has, in order from the transparent resin film side, a linear polarizing layer containing a first cured layer of a first composition containing a polymerizable liquid crystal compound, and a first phase difference layer containing a second cured layer of a second composition containing a polymerizable liquid crystal compound.
