Summary: | The present invention relates to a process for recovering sulfur (S), carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2) from a gaseous stream, the process comprising: providing a first gaseous inlet stream and optionally a second gaseous inlet stream, both gaseous inlet streams comprising hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and CO2; a sulfur recovery step for recovering sulfur (S) from at least a portion of the H2S provided by the gaseous inlet stream to produce a liquid phase containing sulfur (S); a CO2 recovery step for recovering at least a portion of the CO2 provided by the gaseous outlet stream; and an H2 recovery step for recovering at least a portion of the H2 provided by the gaseous outlet stream.
