The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a peak current limiting instruction signal, wherein the peak current limiting instruction signal indicates a peak value of load current; generating an intermediate comparison signal according to the peak current limiting instruction signal and a sampling signal of a load current of a low-side driving load circuit; and according to the intermediate comparison signal and a driving signal output by the MCU, a control signal is generated and sent to a low-side driving load circuit so as to control the low-side driving load circuit. The technical scheme provided by the invention is suitable for over-current control, and current control based on quick response of hardware is realized.
