Summary: | The invention belongs to the technical field of medicine detection, and discloses a method for rapidly and quantitatively detecting the adsorption capacity of medicinal carbon or activated carbon. The method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing an antipyrine aqueous solution with the concentration of 5.0-15.0 mg/ml; (2) adding an antipyrine aqueous solution into a medicinal carbon or activated carbon sample to be detected, controlling the weight ratio of the sample to antipyrine to be 1.5-2.5, shaking for more than 30 minutes, and filtering to obtain a test solution; and (3) measuring the amount of residual antipyrine in the test solution by adopting an ultraviolet spectrophotometric method, and calculating the adsorption capacity of the medicinal carbon.
