Summary: | The invention belongs to the technical field of radar signal detection, and particularly relates to a radar weak and small target detection method based on polarization joint eigenvalues. Comprising the following steps of: 1, calculating a polarization coherence matrix by using data of a plurality of polarization channels, and extracting a maximum characteristic value of the polarization coherence matrix to obtain data containing polarization information; 2, calculating covariance matrixes of the short pulse sequences of the to-be-detected unit and the reference unit, and performing eigenvalue decomposition on the covariance matrixes to obtain all eigenvalues of each covariance matrix; and step 3, using the ratio of the maximum characteristic value of the unit to be detected to the maximum characteristic value, the minimum characteristic value, the arithmetic mean value and the arithmetic mean value of the geometric mean value of the reference unit as test statistics to realize constant false alarm detection. |
