Summary:Methods and systems for producing vinyl acetate may use a flammable limit (FL) formula with improved efficiency at more than one location of the vinyl acetate production process. Wherein the FL may be used at one or more of the four parts of a vinyl acetate production process: a reactor, an inter-process heat exchanger, a carbon dioxide removal system, and an ethylene recovery system.
