The invention provides a fairing and a mounting method thereof. The fairing comprises a fairing shell, the fairing shell comprises a front cone section and a column section which are connected into a whole, and a semi-closed containing cavity is formed in the fairing shell and used for containing an effective load matched with the fairing; the longitudinal separation device is arranged on the fairing shell and fixedly connected with the fairing shell; and the inverted cone section is connected with the fairing shell at the opening of the accommodating cavity through a transverse separation device. According to the fairing and the mounting method thereof, the assembly difficulty of the fairing and the effective load can be reduced. 本公开提供了一种整流罩及其安装方法。该整流罩包括整流罩壳体，包括连接为一体的前锥段和柱段，整流罩壳体内部形成有半封闭的容纳腔，用于放置与整流罩适配的有效载荷；纵向分离装置，设置于整流罩壳体上，且与整流罩壳体固定连接；倒锥段，倒锥段与整流罩壳体在容纳腔的开口处通过横向分离装置连接。本公开实施例的整流罩及其安装方法可以降低流罩与有效载荷的装配难度。
