Summary:The invention provides a knife which can prevent a blade part accommodated between a first grab handle and a second grab handle from being accidentally exposed from the position between the first grab handle and the second grab handle. A knife (1) is provided with a blade member (2), a first shaft member (3), a second shaft member (4), a first grip (5), a second grip (6), and a friction member (7). The blade member (2) has a cutting edge (2a) and a back part (2c) on the opposite side from the cutting edge (2b). The first grip (5) can accommodate the cutting edge (2b) and can rotate with respect to the blade member (2) with the first shaft member (3) as the axis. The second grab handle (6) can accommodate the back part (2c) and can rotate relative to the blade part (2) with the second shaft part (4) as the axis. The friction member (7) is disposed between the first grip (5) and the blade member (2).
