Summary: | Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a cell having multiple radio access technology (multi-RAT) dual connectivity (DC) (MR-DC) capability. The UE may assign a priority to the MR-DC capable cell based at least in part on whether information indicating whether the UE in a tracking area (TA) supports dual connectivity is available, the information indicating whether the UE in the TA supports dual connectivity, system information block (SIB) information indicating whether a network supports a frequency band for MR-DC operating cells is available, and the UE may assign a priority to the MR-DC capable cell based at least in part on the UE. Or MR-DC connection information indicating whether there is at least one frequency band available to support MR-DC operation. The UE may perform a cell selection procedure or a cell reselection procedure based at least in part on the priority assigned to the MR-DC capable cell. Numerous |
