A battery (1) is provided with: a winding-type electrode group (2) in which a separator (10) and an electrode plate are laminated and wound; and a collector plate. In the electrode group (2), the end portions of a plurality of electrode plates arranged in the radial direction (B) are bent in the radial direction (B), and the plurality of bent end portions are joined to the collector plate.
