Summary: | The invention discloses a preparation method of a cobalt-based cathode of an alkaline membrane fuel cell. Firstly, a low-valence cobalt-based catalyst is prepared; then dispersing a low-valence cobalt-based catalyst and a quaternized polymer electrolyte to prepare catalyst ink; forming a film from the catalyst ink to obtain a catalyst film; the catalyst membrane is soaked in an alkaline aqueous solution for ion exchange, and low-valence cobalt is oxidized into hydroxyl cobalt oxide in situ by oxygen dissolved in the solution in the ion exchange process; when a film is formed on the polymer electrolyte film, a cathode layer is obtained; and preparing an anode layer on the other side to obtain a membrane electrode, and assembling the membrane electrode into a fuel cell for application.
