Summary: | An augmented reality (AR) device includes a camera unit, a display unit, and an AR unit. The AR unit is configured to obtain a rendered image of the region. The rendered image includes a virtual marker indicating a virtual target location in the rendered image, the virtual target location corresponding to a physical target location in an area for aiming the luminaire. The AR unit is further configured to display, on the display unit, a real-time image of the area as seen by the camera unit, wherein the reticle of the camera unit is displayed over the real-time image. The AR unit is further configured to display a rendered image overlying and anchored to the real-time image, where the AR device is azimuthally adjustable with the luminaire such that the reticle overlaps the virtual indicia to aim the luminaire at the physical target location.
