Summary:The invention relates to a belt assembly with a removable belt holder. Belts for wearable devices are disclosed that include a plurality of strap retainers for maintaining engagement between a set of straps (e.g., a pair of straps). Some of the belt retainers may be permanently attached to the belt at a particular location of the belt, while other belt retainers may be removable. The removable belt retainers are movable to different positions of the belt, allowing the belt retainers to retain another belt at the different positions. Thus, the strap assembly can be used for different users, in particular users with different wrist sizes. Further, the use of multiple strap retainers may provide an engagement force between the straps to resist higher impact events, such as swimming and diving.
